Nancy M. Webb Scholarship
![]() |
| In memory of Nancy Webb, there is an endowed scholarship available specifically for Linguistics graduate students at UC Davis. Nancy Webb was a linguist in UCD's Anthropology Department in the early 1970s. She was an assistant professor who died at a young age of cancer. Her husband endowed this fund in her memory. An award is made annually; all students who submit the standard fellowship application through Graduate Studies, which is due on January 15, are automatically considered for this award. Additional contributions to the fund are most welcome at any time. If you would like more information on this, please contact Patrick Farrell (530-752-4543) or Lesley Byrns (530-752-1291). The 2007 recipient of this award is Duane Leonard, a Ph.D. student. Read more.
