| The UC Davis Ph.D. program in Linguistics is supported by a wide array of faculty and encompasses numerous research areas. Students may either choose an area of emphasis focusing on a topic within the broad domain of structural/theoretical linguistics or may specialize in some area within the domain of our special thematic focus on second language acquisition and development (SLAD), which responds to a growing need for researchers trained to investigate issues of bilingualism and multilingualism. |
